5 STARS from Sherri - March 2022 - Airbnb Guest: My girlfriends and I had such a relaxing get away at the beach lodge. The house is so clean and beautifully decorated we absolutely LOVED it!!! We thought Cherisse’s welcome guide with very specific recommendations of places to go and eat was really helpful. The location is perfect, it’s like a beachy neighborhood of NYC --- we walked everywhere which was fantastic with my dog! Highlands is such a cute town, it’s close to everything, we are all from NJ and never really knew of it, but we are already talking about our next trip back, and we will definitely be staying at Cherisse’s again!

The location can’t be beat-walking distance to nearly everything in Highlands and a short drive to check out other areas like Sandy Hook, Long Branch and Sea Bright. The outdoor equipment available for use was also top notch. We had one guest with us with mobility challenges, and this property was nearly perfect. The host was very accommodating to any questions or requests before and during our stay. We would definitely stay at this property again.

5 Stars from Marcie - May 2022 VRBO Guest: Perfect for our annual Girl's weekend....The home was immaculate. The style and decor was perfect down to the tiniest detail. Lots of wide open places to gather and catch up with friends both inside and outside. The dining room table was suitable for our big family style meals, and kitchen provided us with everything we needed to prepare them. It was absolutely perfect and in close proximity to restaurants and bars. Cherisse guided us to the best places to visit despite our less than stellar weather. I don't usually visit the same place twice, but this time I may have to book again. The home, the trip, and the hostess were all 5 stars.

Everything you could want in a vacation rental to unwind from the daily grind. Need beach chairs and accessories, bikes, private patio even a record player? Look no further, it's all included at the beach house. We definitely recommend a stay at this rental and will certainly be returning.

Everything was clean and fresh. We loved the game selection and the home had everything we needed. We appreciated the beach chairs and the bags game in the garage as well!

The best part of vacation is spending it with people you love in a beautiful space that's comfortable, relaxing and stress free. This house absolutely has that vibe!!! Well equipped with anything you could possibly need. Lots of great restaurants in walking distance and beaches are a short walk or quick drive. We absolutely loved the food in the Highlands and Cherisse was always available for any questions I had. Her welcome guide and suggestions to all the things made our stay even more enjoyable.

The great room is comfortable and has a great set-up for hosting and the dining room table can easily hold all the food you want to serve. The art is fun and eclectic and the space is homey. Great location, that still delivers, even in the "off" season (though fall is always so pretty on the Shore, it's hard to call it the off season) Cherisse was very responsive to any questions and flexible when we had certain specific requests. A great experience.

There's a lot to do in the Highlands area - beach, hiking, shopping, restaurants/bars. Charisse provides a great experience with all the little details especially her suggestions on places to go and things to do if you are not familiar with the area. We will definitely be back.

The driveway was long enough to park boat trailer and truck as well as another vehicle. The house has everything and is really cool. The town is great and the Proving Grounds is a nice place to grab dinner and drinks with live music.

The towels were very plush and there’s great water pressure. We loved the record player, and it was great having bikes available. There’s a bunch of restaurants within walking distance. We went to Sandy hook so it was great having the beach pass. There were instructions for everything and Cherisse was helpful and responsive every time I reached out. Would definitely come back!

We have family in the area and love visiting the NJ shore. Cherisse was so easy to communicate with and even accommodated an unexpected early arrival. (Thank you again 🙏) The property is clean, quiet, comfortable and easy access to everything. Early morning walk to bakery, casual lunch down on the water and family beach time galore. We love that this dog friendly location has dog gates to fence in the backyard, bowls and lots of dog friendly suggestions in their welcome guide! The place is immaculate and the location is excellent with many dog friendly restaurants and things to do nearby.

Washer and dryer were also very handy to have. We didn’t lack for anything, and the home was immaculate! Close by is a nice coffee shop and other conveniences. What a pleasant visit we had and we plan on returning again!

We were a short trip to two separate sea streak ferry ports, Sandy Hook, and charming restaurants. We got our Italian and bagel fix- while taking a ferry ride into NyC for two days. The house itself is so comfortable, with tons of small details that made our stay amazing. We will be back!
